Mediators may choose to adhere to the 2026 Standards or the 2005 Standards until they sunset on 09/01/2027 when they sunset.
- Interim Period (February 23, 2026 – August 31, 2027): OMA members may subscribe to either the 2005 or current OMA Core Standards of Mediation Practice.
- Full Implementation (Effective September 1, 2027): All practicing mediator members must subscribe to the current OMA Core Standards of Mediation Practice.”
